Happy Holidays from the Reno Writers’ Collective! During this festive time of year I am so thankful for the bounty of support and interest this project has garnered over the past few months.
Thank you to all the writers who have contributed content to the RWC, and all the friends who have made me so hopeful that this thing will grow to be an important outlet for creative people in the beautiful Great Basin.
As 2012 comes racing upon us I’m so excited to start the new year with a new branch of this project. Starting in January I will be hosting a monthly RWC Workshop in Reno! The time, date and location of our first real-live-in-the-flesh writers’ meeting has yet to be determined but I will keep you all updated via the website and emails.
This workshop will be two parts- for the first half we’ll feature a guest speaker and the next half will be a time for us to write on a prompt/critique each others’ work/talk about future goals for the collective. As I more fully develop this idea I’ll let y’all know, but for now that’s the skin and bones of it.
RWC Workshops comin’ atcha live in 2012.
Hope your holidays bring you good cheer, nice gifts and priceless time with family and friends. Spread the love.
